Global Logistic Support has the responsibility to support the aftermarket with stocking directives for new machine launches as well as for existing machines. The responsibility covers all products developed within Volvo Construction Equipment.
Our team and customers, with whom we are in frequent contact, are situated all over the world. Occasional travels are required.
We are looking for a person with a service minded approach towards our regional contacts and our project management team. This position offers the opportunity to combine a cross functional team work for identifying different levels of critical components and database analyses of stock impact.
Contents of the Job:
• Create Initial Stocking Lists to support new machine launches
• Development of ISL BEAT/Data warehouse report design and maintenance
• Create "On Demand" stock proposals to support existing machine population
• Maintain Initial Stocking Lists according to design change notes (DCN)
• Analyse and follow up the impact of Initial Stocking Lists
• Continuous improvement and documentation of work routines
• Participate in and develop Parts on Shelf process
• Development of Initial Stocking lists by using analytical tools within the initial stocking department
• Develop and improve cooperation with the regions regarding ISL improvements
Travel Required: Occasional
This position will be located in: Eskilstuna, Sweden
Preferred Qualifications
• University degree in mechanical engineering other relevant area/experience
• Experience of working with technical documentation and drawings
• Product competence and technical understanding
• Skilful use of MS Office package and database/BEAT and report design
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English. Additional languages are considered as a merit
• Ability to work independently as well as being a reliable team player
• Customer focused and good analytical skills
Skills/knowledge in any of the following systems is regarded as especially suitable merits:
• Beat, Prost, Prime, Kola, GLOPPS, MMI
