hela Sverige Avantor is currently looking for a hands-on and motivated Logistic Assistant to join the growing team in Mölndal, Gothenburg! In this diverse role, you are responsible for providing logistic support to three different teams with various ad hoc assignments. You'll manage incoming goods, unpack them and much more! This role will be a full-time, permanent position, based at our customer site, AstraZeneca, in Mölndal. Working hours: Monday - Friday, flexible start time between 6:00 - 9:00 and finish time 15:00 - 18:00
The team
You belong to the Supply Chain department, currently counting thirty associates. This department is split into three different teams, each counting 10 associates, to which you'll provide logistic support: Shipping, Stockroom and ChemStore. Together with your colleagues, you are part of our department Lab & Production Services, which supports leading pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we're looking for
Experience:
• In a hands-on warehouse job is highly desired; this can also be from of summer job
Preferred qualifications:
• Good general IT skills with MS Office
• Fluent communication skills in English; Swedish is a plus
• A forklift license is an asset
• Flexible and able to deal with fast changing priorities
• Motivated, hardworking and service minded
• Outgoing, a real team player and independent
How you will thrive and create an impact
• Handle incoming goods by unpacking them, registering them in the internal IT system and by putting them away in the right place
• Distribute materials and chemicals to the right laboratory
• Assist in handling outgoing shipments by picking them from shelves and packing them
• Manage disposal of chemicals in storages and handle returns in the Chemical Store
• Handle the collection of outbound materials from customers
• Ensure that the outbound material is properly packed, marked and labelled
• Carry out administrative work related to shipping and order placement
• Support in designing work routines, both for Avantor Services and customers
