Your role and responsibilities
Are you ready to take on a high-impact leadership role in one of the most dynamic divisions at ABB? We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Local Division Manager for our division Energy Industries in Sweden. In this pivotal role, you will have full end-to-end responsibility for driving the growth and success of our Service and Solution business, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and delivering strong financial results. You'll lead a talented team, build strong relationships with customers, and drive continuous improvement in all areas of the organization. This position reports to Hub Division Manager, IAEN,NEU.
Responsibilities in the role:
Full responsibility for the profit & loss and business growth for the local business
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Drive HSE-, Quality- and Continuous Improvement development in all parts of the organization
Implement and ensure business compliance with ABB Corporate and Country standards, rules, and processes
Implement and drive local business strategy aligned with the HUB strategy
Drive productivity, delivery performance, and cost optimization in all parts of the organization
Ensure that the local business is properly organized, staffed and skilled, as well as drive competency development and talent growth across all layers of the organization, all in collaboration with local HR
Inspire, guide, motivate, and develop direct and indirect subordinates in line with HR processes and policies
Ensure achievement of established operational and financial targets through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed
Qualifications for the role
Relevant higher education and 12 years+ of relevant industry experience
Proven track-record of leading major organizations, evidencing excellent collaboration skills
Strategic leadership skills, people developer, strong entrepreneurial attitude, and senior executive presence
Customer-oriented and strategic mindset with passion to drive business results through people and with an under-standing of relevant markets, customers, technology, and competition
Proven sales acumen and experience in driving various ways to market
Strong relationship- and results focus which lead internal stakeholders towards a combined set of solutions best suited to meet customers' expectations
Solid technical background which will allow ABB to develop and deliver a set of netted solutions specifically designed to meet client needs
Experience in change & turnaround management, developing and leading large organizations in various business cycles
Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities, both internally and externally; fluent in English and strong proficiency in Swedish
