hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos North Development AB i Stockholm The AMO - BDS team takes care of key services which are used by other departments to build and deliver customer services: storage (mainly file- & block-level) and backup, authentication (AD, RADIUS, Certificates), network application layer (DNS, DHCP, HTTP Proxy & Caching, SFTP, ...), centralized logging, infrastructure & application monitoring and some legacy services. We deploy these services in a heterogenous environment: from vendor specific appliances, bare-metal, virtualization and container platforms that we host in our own data centers to public clouds. The majority of the services run in a Linux environment, but we have a Windows environment as well.
Your role will be to do the technical design and implementation of services and make sure they are properly cared for afterwards. You will collaborate with colleagues in and outside of the team to deploy your solutions in order to contribute to the best online gaming experience for Kindred customers. Your mainly focus will be for our central logging solutions based on Splunk.
To be part of our great team you need to be able to work well under stress, be able to travel occasionally to one of our data centers or offices (international) and like to work in an ever changing and growing environment.
We value much more the fact that you have the right mindset and understand concepts like continuous integration and delivery than that you have vendor-specific product knowledge.
You have a with good central logging solutions knowledge, preferable Splunk
You are a system administrator/engineer in a fast-paced high-tech company
You have solid knowledge of at least one BSD/Linux distribution
You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Servers
You are passionate about providing great solutions, maintaining and promoting them
You like to automate common and daily tasks, so you can focus on the creative aspects of your job
You have a strong interest in new technologies and engineering of technical solutions
You like to step out of your comfort zone and get acquainted with the knowledge domains of your colleagues
You are vendor agnostic and like to use the best product and solution for the problem at hand
