Pingstkyrkan Lidköping is part of the Swedish Pentecostal Church and has ministry in Lidköping and the surrounding area as well as a large international ministry. Since 20 years, the Scandinavian Pentecostal Movements have had an increasing involvement with local churches and organizations in the countries in North Africa and the Middle East. Some development projects are within the framework of the cooperation between PMU Interlife and SIDA, but there are also a number of small scale social projects and media initiatives. This evolving network has expanded year by year with new contacts, activities and programs. In order to continue to strengthen the cooperation, we have now reached the point where a representative from North Africa based in Sweden is needed. The overall objective is to strengthen the development of a civil society in the Middle East and North Africa region as Scandinavian partner organizations and partners in the region strengthen their communication and support.

Beskrivning av arbetsuppgifter:
Main Responsibilities .

To act as a liaison among local partners in the region and Scandinavian Churches and organizations .

To strengthen the development of a civil society in the MENA region as Scandinavian partner organizations and partners in the region strengthen their communication and support..

To lead, develop and manage regional projects for the Church within the Middle
East and North Africa. Main projects: o TV productions and broadcast for North
African Kids o Internet production projects
Role within the organization
Responsible in front of and reports to: IBRA Regional Director(Swedish Pentecostal Mission) and the leadership of Pingstkyrkan Lidköping
Other main relationships: . Scandinavian churches and organizations . Partnering teams and organizations and their representatives within internet production. . Development and follow up of activities especially related to the Churches operations in Morocco and North Africa.
Details on the Main responsibilities.

To act as a liaison between local partners in the region and Scandinavian organizations - providing reports and presentations to partners in Scandinavia on the activities in the region - assist during exchange visits between the region and Scandinavia - develop and introduce new forms of online communication for this purpose - facilitate the building of partnership as well as personal relationships.

To strengthen the development of a civil society in the Middle East and North Africa region as Scandinavian partner organizations and partners in the region strengthen their communication and support - identify needs and possibilities in the society and among different groups - forming plans and proposals for future projects - encourage individuals to organize themselves into local fellowships and organizations - Monitor and support the staff, and their activities, of the Moroccan offices and teams.

To lead, develop and manage regional projects for the Church within the Middle East and North Africa . TV production and broadcast for North African Kids: - present production opportunities/ideas for Management for approval - monthly evaluation and planning meetings with Management - provide Management with regular reports - keep relations and communications with broadcasters - provide Management with annual budgets - coordinate, lead and manage production and all production segments including script writing, shooting and post-production . Internet production: - manage and support the development of the project - build, develop and equip local teams to build local sub-projects on local vision and within local context and culture - act as link between local teams for sharing of resources and ideas to strengthen collaboration - make sure a regular reporting system is in place and works - to inform Management about changes in teams and activities Other projects: - Provide Project Management for projects appointed by IBRA and Pingstkyrkan Lidköping

Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
At least 10 years of experience in media production and evaluation in the region of North Africa and Middle east Documented experience in cooperation between North Africa and Sweden
Experience on the Swedish society and culture
Sharing the workplace values of the employer
Documented experience in internet development and production Extensive experience in web design and development Documented experience in media production using the internet Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking and writing)
Fluent in French (speaking and writing), especially the Moroccan dialects
Documented management skills and leadership abilities Excellent and well documented computer skills
