ART (Agile Release Train) Body Functions has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launch of new cars, and it involves development of customer functionality, system design, verification, hardware design and software development. The technical responsibility covers system solutions in various areas, among them Vehicle access, Locking, Alarm and Exterior Light. The ART is also responsible for developing a number of different electronic control units, some of them with in-house developed SW. We make impact on the customers experience of a premium car!
We are now searching for a Lead Engineer within Security Electronics with the ambition to grow and develop together with us in this exciting and transformation times of the organization.

As Lead Engineer you will be covering all phases from concept to aftermarket and will be leading product development together and connect all relevant stakeholders. Due to our agile way of working you will be part of a scrum team, together with other lead engineers leading different projects and assignments on different levels of the product cycles. The role involves close cooperation with our suppliers, even though our focus for the future will be more and more in in-house development.

What you 'll do?

You will work in close cooperation with suppliers to develop system/component solutions in regard to time, technique and cost requirements. Quality assure the assignment through cross functional collaboration and deliver according to agreed time plan. Documenting the assignment by updating and releasing documentation for systems and components, report the assignment status and decisions to key stake holders and follow up and drive on-going quality items within Security Electronics. This roles requires multitasking from the concept phase throughout the cycle until production.

You and your skills

You have at least B.Sc. degree within technical engineering, and have some Electronics HW design knowledge and experience. We would prefer a candidate coming from automotive industry, who has an overall understanding of product development and project management skills.
Competencies within Electronics SW and/or HW development are highly appreciated and would bring a huge value to already existing team of Lead engineers.
You have a high interest in leading and managing projects and working with different stakeholders, internally and externally. Communication and presenting skills are of high importance in this role, as well as being fluent in English, written and spoken.

On a personal level you should have a strong drive, positive mind-set and be customer-oriented individual. With you motivation and pro-activeness you can make a difference and be an important part of our department. Further, the position requires someone with excellent communicational and social skills, able to build relationships and network internally and externally. Be organized, structured and well prepared are the main characteristics while working on project management. That is why we are looking for a person possessing these qualities.
