In the coming year, we aim to make all of our products available in the app, in a way suitable for mobile devices. We are looking to expand our mobile team with a Lead Engineer. As a Lead Engineer, you will architect, design, develop, deploy and operate our app that is used by thousands of users.
The app is developed by our in-house team, where each team member plays an important role in the development. We work in small self-organizing teams using Scrum as our framework to support agile values. You will also be working closely with colleagues from other departments such as operations, design and business developers in cross-functional teams. Your focus and responsibilities will be to:
Drive best engineering practices within your team and define and teach these
Design and implement new features for the Qliro mobile app
Write clean, structured code with testability and security in mind
Develop with friction-free processes and user-friendly interfaces in mind
Find ways to spread learning and knowledge sharing across the organization, leveling up our engineering practices.

How we work
Qliro is a Fin-tech engineering company that is a startup at heart. We are one big team where everyone's opinion is valued. You will be joining an agile development department that today consist of seven teams of approximately 50 developers. All our teams are cross-functional, self-organized with a great degree of freedom.
As an engineer at Qliro, you will work in a specific team while having opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grows and evolves. You will be working closely with the product owner and other of talented Software Engineers, not only developing features yourself, but also doing pair programming, code reviews, and implementing tests of all kinds.
