Our client is a promising startup, building a global mobile Meet New People platform. The service was launched in late 2011 in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Poland and Russia and they are constantly evaluating new markets. With a talented team of 15, our client is located in central Gothenburg, Sweden.

Job Description

On their behalf, we are looking for a Lead Designer to help continue develop the look and feel of the service. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences with a modern, balanced, clean and concise design sense. This is a mobile first company, which means that you should have great experience from mobile design; native apps as well as responsive web design.

You will play a key role in developing and executing creative strategy around user-centered design (UCD) activities, mixing business and user goals to create awesome online experiences for the users.

You will be responsible for everything from continuing to develop their brand strategy to user-centric UI design, and pixel-perfect PSDs. You will work closely with product and development teams. You will roll up your sleeves to make sure everything not only looks great, but works the way users expect.

You should have the ambition and skills to grow in to the position of Creative Director.

Desired Skills & Experience

Here's what we're looking for:

• Experience crafting stellar user experiences that elegantly balance product and business requirements
• An expert eye for the little details that make or break a great experience
• Experience creating rapid prototypes (wire frames, mockups, screen flows, interactive models, etc.) to test with consumers and integrate feedback through an iterative process
• Ability to take initiative and collaborate
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule
• Strong layout skills and an experienced eye for color & typography
• Have strong experience in, and show great examples of, designing native mobile interfaces as well as RWD. An impressive mobile design portfolio is more important than the actual years of experience.
• Eager to work at product company
