About the role:
In your role you will collaborate with various business units to gather and understand distribution requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will identify and evaluate optimal service providers that meet the business requirements, fostering efficiency in the distribution network.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Take ownership of all distribution contracts, including transportation, warehousing, 3PL services, and more. Prepare and support negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
RFQ/RFI Processes:
Facilitate Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI) processes, ensuring transparency and competitiveness in service provider selection.
Budgetary Control: Manage distribution costs through effective budgetary control, optimizing spending while maintaining service excellence.
Supplier Development:
Support supplier development initiatives, building strong partnerships that contribute to overall supply chain success.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations in all Nordic countries, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.
Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in developing and implementing distribution strategies that align with Nobia's overarching business strategy.
You use a pro-active leadership which includes driving improvements and foster innovation within the distribution team. You will deliver good results, foster collaboration and maintain a customer-centric focus in all distribution operations.
Who are you?
You are an excellent communicator who likes to create engagement, and actively develop the skills and potential of our distribution team.
You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. You have proven experience in distribution management and contract negotiations as well as strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. You are familiar with RFQ/RFI processes and budgetary control.
You are fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages both orally and written.
This position is preferably located at our factory in Jönköping, Sweden and you will report to the Distribution Manager Nordic located in Finland.
