hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
In the ambition to drive the shift towards sustainable transport, Scanias bus product is transitioning to meet the new technology needs of today and tomorrow, such as electrification. The group 'Bus Layout and Group Modularization', RVLX, is working in the middle of this and we are looking for a layout engineer to help Scania and TRATON define its future product bus offering.
What's in it for you?
Focusing on pre-development layout challenges on the Scania bus portfolio, you will create a great understanding of our current and future complete vehicle composition and how this best meets our customers demands.
In this role you will act as a spider-in-the-web. You will drive bus layout challenges with varying technical complexity, manage property trade-offs on a complete vehicle level and you will help describe the bus complete vehicle architecture roadmap.
The bus layout team consists of 6 people currently. Our organization always strive for an environment where problems can be openly discussed and handled as a team. There is plenty of room to grow in this role; personally, technically and as a leader.
Your profile
Our organization is a key driver in leading and ensuring the efficiency of the entire modular system - a great task that requires great people.
• You are an analytical and creative problem solver, able to focus on the bigger modular picture and its details at the same time.
• You are familiar with the modular system as a concept.
• You have a technical interest, and can work in CATIA and its related systems.
• You have a good personal drive and an ability to drive complexity independently.
• And most importantly - you are looking to continue to learn, develop and challenge yourself!
We offer
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer other benefits such as distance working in Sweden, a company car, company-performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices, and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania JobExpress.
