We help enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our customers in the global shipping industry, covering all vessel types and mobile offshore units. As a partner to industry, we offer services in testing, certification, training, and technical advisory through the energy value chain. That means we're continually investing heavily into R&D for new services and solutions while proactively assessing what the industry needs today and tomorrow.
The Business Development section in Maritime Region North Europe (M-N) covers 14 countries. Our responsibilities include profiling, marketing, sales, and key account management. We work closely with our Customer Support Centre (CSC) to support and engage local customers. Our goal is to strengthen DNV's market position and drive maritime account activities in the region. This involves growth strategies, customer retention, and securing newbuilding orders. We also organize customer courses, seminars, and events.
We maintain an extensive network both within DNV and in the maritime industry. Our expertise covers ship classification, statutory matters, and advisory services. We value customer engagement, competence development, and teamwork. Currently, we're expanding our Key Account Manager (KAM) team in Sweden, with the option to work in our office in Gothenburg or Stockholm. The Key Account Manager will report to the Head of Section in Bergen, Norway.
Main tasks:
Take responsibility for business development and sales through close dialogue with and good understanding of our Key customer's needs and expectations.
Secure new core class business and develop new opportunities based on identified customer needs and DNV's total portfolio of products and advisory services.
Strengthen our standing with defined key customers by providing outstanding support and service
Enhance our team's image as a highly professional, creative and service-minded resource for our clients
We expect our new Key Account Manager to be an excellent relationship builder, a sales/marketing professional and a person that can help our customers to obtain attractive solutions based on combinations of DNV services, products and experience.

Qualifications:
BSc or MSc degree
Extensive knowledge and experience from the maritime industry
Good understanding of the maritime value chain and its stakeholders
Proven experience with sales, customer engagement and marketing activities.
Self-going, structured and creative.
Proficiency in one of the Scandinavian languages, in addition to fluent English
