hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Scandinavian Airlines System SAS i Sigtuna Global Agent Sales is a part of the Sales and Marketing organization in SAS and includes the following units; Charter & Tour Operators, Global Agents, Regional Agents and Online Travel Agents. The department Charter & Tour Operators is globally responsible for SAS Charter related Sales, including Tour Operators, which means a revenue responsibility of approximately 2,5 billion SEK. The departments main task is to drive and secure sales, as well as negotiating and executing agreements, in a global environment. Within the area of responsibility is also business development and to define and establish suitable frameworks.
As Key Account Manager - Ad hoc Charter Sales you will have global responsibility for developing and optimizing the business area to reach highest possible revenue, both through interfaces with external partners and through SAS internal organization. It is important that the Key Account Manager - Ad hoc Charter Sales have a great ability to create good relations and have a harmonized mix of operational knowledge and strategic thinking. For the right person this will be an opportunity to develop and drive sales within an "own" area of responsibility.
Main responsibilities
• Optimizing SAS Ad hoc Charter Sales and proactively strive to increasing SAS profitability and market share.
• Ensuring highest possible revenue and margin, ROI and for optimizing cost of sales within the Ad hoc Charter area
• Customer contact towards Ad hoc Charter Sales
• Secure SAS is number 1 choice within the Ad hoc Charter segment
Main tasks
• Based on profitability development, globally identify and explore new opportunities and propose best possible GTM strategy for the area of responsibility
• Secure optimal price and profitability level in accordance with targets and relevant policies
• Negotiations and contract preparations with air brokers, end customers etc. according to SAS compliance and complete relevant business cases
• Secure operational prerequisites and optimal and effective internal process with SAS Operations, SAS Network and other relevant units
• Proactively secure corrective actions within the Ad hoc Charter Sales area
Communication and Collaboration
• Establish strategic relationships with preferred air brokers and end customers in the relevant markets
• External network, with possible presentations in relevant forums
• Extended internal network, to secure prerequisites and clear interfaces and cooperation
Key experiences and competences
• Experience from a sales driven organization and/or the charter industry, and/or air brokers or similar
• Strategic thinking with ability to constant seek improvements within the area of responsibility and with the propensity to challenge existing levels of delivery
• Excellent communication skills and verbal and written presentation technique, in both English and the Scandinavian languages, and the ability to communicate across cultural boundaries
• Experience from negotiations, pricing and contracting
• Team player with high personal drive and ability to take own initiatives and focus on execution
• A LEAN-perspective to increase customer value and increase efficiency in the Ad hoc Charter Sales processes
• M.B.A or correspondent, and/or long and successful work experience within relevant areas
The position is located in Sweden, Arlanda, but will involve traveling to other SAS markets in Scandinavia.
