About the role
We are seeking a Junior Technical Sales Manager (India Market) to support the expansion of Nanologica's chromatography business across the Indian pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors.
In this role, you will act as a technical point of contact for customers and partners in India, providing scientific product guidance, supporting downstream process optimization, and contributing to market development. You will represent Nanologica in international forums, collaborate with internal teams, and support both sales and technical communication activities.
Main duties / Primary responsibilities
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for Indian customers and partners, leveraging multilingual capabilities and regional insight.
• Support the identification and development of commercial opportunities within the Indian biopharma and vaccine sectors.
• Provide product guidance on silica- and agarose-based chromatography media for protein purification.
• Advise customers on resin selection for affinity and ion exchange chromatography.
• Support clients in optimizing downstream purification workflows and provide scientific input on upstream processes where relevant.
• Translate laboratory-level expertise in protein purification, FPLC, column packing, and buffer preparation into customer-facing recommendations.
• Represent Nanologica at conferences, summits, and technical forums.
• Prepare technical reports, training material, and presentations for customers.
• Support sales strategy with data-driven insights and scientific content.
Your profile
Experience & competencies
• Academic background in molecular biology, life sciences, biotechnology, or related fields.
• Practical experience in protein purification using ion exchange and affinity chromatography, including FPLC systems.
• Understanding of upstream and downstream bioprocessing, including vaccine or biologics production principles.
• Experience preparing and delivering scientific presentations.
• Ability to synthesize scientific data into clear, commercially relevant messaging.
• Multilingual communication skills, especially in English and major Indian languages.
Personal qualities
• Strong communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn commercial and technical aspects of chromatography.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable presenting in scientific and business settings.
Education
• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, life sciences, biotechnology or an equivalent discipline.
• Additional industry or process-related training is an advantage.
