Outpost24 performs ongoing security audits and penetration testing for clients and we are looking tohire a Web Application Security Consultant to expand our rapidly growing company.
The successful candidate will join the Web Application Security department in a role that requires service support &service enhancements, strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Overview:
The Junior SWAT Consultant has to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Execute work that exceeds expectations based on strong understandings of the client's business, needs and industry. Furthermore, the Junior SWAT Consultant has to communicate regularly with clients to monitor client satisfaction and ensure reliable delivery.
The Web Application Security Consultant will be responsible for creating additional value for clients through continual insights and consultative advice based on experience with the client and their
industry. Ensuring that defined processes are followed accurately.
The successful applicant is proactive and identifies opportunities to improve the service and delivery model. Works with staff, peers, and management to improve and enhance services.
Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing security solutions
• Conducting security assessments, audits and penetration tests
• Supporting pre- and post-sales
• Provide complete operational support, detailed analysis and remediation guidance
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
• +3 years of experience in Vulnerability Management
• Strong knowledge of web application security, SQL injections, XSS, etc.
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of web applications, protocols, and vulnerabilities
• Experience with several programming languages and frameworks
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); good interpersonal skills
• Occasional travel to customer sites for planning and review meetings can be expected
• Familiarity with web servers and networks is preferred
• Understanding of security principles and policies
• Experience with developing security tools
• Experience in systems administrations
• Passionate about IT security
