What does this role mean ??
Your main task is to be the world's best problem solver and to drive legal innovation forward! As our new Junior Legal Counsel, you will support the legal requirements of the business as well as advise on a variety of corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters. Since we are a saas company and process a lot of data, much of your work will be related to the GDPR. Attention to detail and the ability and confidence to work autonomously are essential. You will need to have a basic understanding of commercial implications, and you will report directly to the Legal Director.
The job includes:
Drafting, negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts within a multi-jurisdictional scope;
GDPR, including negotiating and reviewing data processing agreements, policies, and other assistance agreements, evaluating and developing our internal processes etc.;
Advising internal departments within the company (e.g. marketing, customer support and tech etc.) with regards to applicable legal requirements;
Research into multi-national regulatory regimes and risk management. Teamtailor is constantly appraising new product and territorial expansion opportunities. Regular regulatory and compliance updates to the business will therefore be needed.
Corporate law matters.
Advising on employment law matters in the different jurisdictions.
Provide support to and assist the Legal Director.
Depending on your previous experience and ability to learn, you may also be able to work with other tasks. There are great development opportunities in this role.

We are looking for you who fulfil the following criteria:
Open to working 3-5 days per week (part-time or full-time);
Studied law at university or college; Newly graduated or 1-3 years of work experience;
Fluent in Swedish, and very good knowledge in English (both in speech and writing);
Driven, accurate and independent;
Practical and business-minded; and
Team-player with an interest in working with a fast-growing global team and company.
It is an advantage if you...
Have experience in similar type of work;and
Have worked with the GDPR.
