Job Description
You will be part of a fast-paced environment and work with youthful, fashion products that welcome everyone! Our target customers are fashion-conscious young women who aspire to the latest in fashion, from current essentials to fashion must haves. You will be part of a fast moving, dynamic environment and adaptable to change.
As a Junior Product Designer for DIVIDED you will be focused on knitwear, responsible for assisting in creating the most current & updated assortment relevant for our customer. This involves a curiosity and understanding of the customer together with insight of upcoming new trends and key products. You are a part of creating the best products with incredible attention to detail and ensuring the collection is fashion forward with key products & trends that speak to our target customer.
As a Junior Designer you will be responsible for assisting our Product Designer working together with our wider team including Product Manager, Pattern Maker, Print Designer, Planner, Buyer, Product Developer and Business Controller. The role involves, but is not limited to, flat sketching, working in Shima, updating collection overviews etc. You will be involved in developing collections sold globally in all H&M markets. We have high ambitions and a great team spirit. As a team we are a forward thinking, innovative and energetic!
Qualifications
In addition to above we are looking for:
A BA degree in Textile/Fashion Design
A minimum of 1-2 year's work experience as a JR Designer/Design Assistant
Knitwear background is essential
Passion and understanding of our H&M Divided customer
Strong skills in Adobe Suite programs
Experience in 3D CLO and SHIMA is meriting
Attention to detail and good knowledge of knit & yarn
A creative and visionary mindset for fashion, both current and future trends
Strong communication skills and flexibility
You thrive working in diverse teams where we are all different and you contribute with your perspective
Like a fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A very strong self - drive and can take own initiatives
English fluency (Swedish is not necessary)
Additional Information
This is a Permanent full-time position, starting in August 2024.
