Role responsibility
We are looking for a junior Infrastructure Technician with experience of Linux and Infrastructure administration. The right person will be part of a team that will be building and improving a high availability infrastructure in an agile environment. The right person is a generalist and can think outside the box. You will work within a dynamic 20 person team consisting of network, infrastructure, application and database support technicians
Key Accountabilities of this role are
Provide support to 2nd line technicians
Scripting automation, monitoring and administration tasks
Participate in technical projects and provide architectural solutions
Assist in capacity and availability planning
Manage storage solutions
We are looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience
Experience in administrating Linux systems.
Experience in scripting ability in at least one scripting language like Bash, Python, sh, groovy, ruby
Experience from Puppet is highly desired
A driving interested in new technologies and solutions
Passionate about security and providing service
Interested in F5 Load balancer is a plus
Broad skilled generalist
