During this assigment will you be hired by Wrknest and work as a consultant for approximately 3 months with a chance of conversion.
Assignment description
Compliance Operations Banking is performing reviews of high-risk customers and segments for all of the company's markets and products (except the US). The team identifies, prevents, and monitors high-risk transactions in relation to financial crimes. The focus is Anti-Money Laundering/Counter-Terrorist Financing, first-line of defence - performing compliance-related operational tasks, such as;
• Daily reviewing of individuals and transactions matched against Politically Exposed Person (PEP) lists as well as various Sanction lists.
• Investigate individuals hit by AML and CTF high-risk scenarios and alarms, including sending and analyzing KYC and EDD questionnaires.
• Review individuals that are under investigation by law enforcement.
• Receive and investigate suspicious transactions, escalated by other internal departments and decide on further escalation processes.
• Report suspicious transactions and individuals to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Required Qualifications
• A University degree from a university in a numerate subject (e.g. Economics, Criminology, Accounting or Business)
• Exceptional analytical thinking abilities, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong ability to process large sets of information and detect anomalies.
• A structured and accurate way of working.
• Proficient knowledge of English language, additional languages are well regarded (German or Swedish would be a nice addition).
• Passion for learning about AML.
Start Date: 2022-03-01 or earlier.
End Date: 2022-06-31 (3 months from start)
40 hours/week
Location: Stockholm

The candidates have to come to the office the first 3 weeks of the assignment for a proper onboarding.
