We're now looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Stockholm. You will be a part of a team of seven people in our office here in Stockholm. Do you have 2-3 years of experience in accounting and are ready for a new challenge? Then this might be it! We are looking for you with the right mindset and ability to learn but of course with the understanding of debit and credit. YOUR CHALLENGE
Some of our subsidiaries' accounting functions are currently being centralized to our HQ in Stockholm. You will be the one implementing new processes and further developing current ones. You will also be a key stakeholder for ad-hoc administrative and commercial support when the need arises.
With this role, you will have direct responsibility for accurate and timely reporting for some of the subsidiaries within Daniel Wellington. You will report directly to the Group Accounting Manager. You will be based in our office at Vasagatan in the central parts of Stockholm.
You will also be responsible for organizing and managing the day-to-day accounting operations in our global ERP system (Microsoft NAV Dynamics) and acting as the local administrative support. In short, your main responsibilities will be:
• Managing the accounts payable and the accounts receivable
• Reconciliations, petty cash and cash flow
• Maintaining the general ledger
• Guaranteeing 100% compliance with all relevant local legislation (e.g. statutory accounting standards, tax law, civil law) and internal group accounting guidelines
• Managing the year-end audit process
• Other ad-hoc tasks
WHO YOU ARE
You are a team player with an easy-going attitude and eager to learn. To be successful in this role we also believe you are structured and can handle several tasks at once, with the ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines. You enjoy working in a fast-moving organization with an unpretentious atmosphere.
• Bachelor's degree or KY with a specialization in Accounting
• 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Working in an international environment with foreign subsidiaries is a plus
• Experience from Microsoft NAV Dynamics (Navision) is a plus
• You are of course fluent in English, verbally as well as written
• Proven ability to drive business initiatives
• Great analytical skills
