We are looking for a Java Server Developer to join their self-organized team of driven, prestigeless and creative talents. We pay special attention to your personal attributes and want someone who can work equally well independently and in teams, like to build smart solutions and have the user in focus.
Your day to day work will consist of development of new server logic or maintenance of existing logic supporting a number of passionate game teams in Stockholm and Brighton, big and small projects in which you are involved in every step. They practice peer reviews on all code that is not pair-programmed. You test your own work, often together with the game teams. Releasing to Google Cloud and monitoring the production environment is done by the team in a devops fashion.
Desired Skills and Experience
• 2-3 years of relevant programming experience
• Thorough knowledge of Java
• Experience within cloud services (AWS / Google AppEngine)
• NoSQL and SQL experience
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
