Development & Professional Services (DPS) deliver competitive advantage to Volvo Car Group through new products, solutions and services delivered by world-class project execution. The DPS Marketing, Sales and Services (MSS) domain delivers programs and projects to the marketing and sales and customer service domains within Volvo Car Group focusing on improving sales and customer service capabilities.
With the role IT Program Manager we are now looking for a senior resource with high business acumen and extensive experience from complex business establishment and IT-development for a role as program manager. Marketing, Sales and Services is going through a digital transformation where business processes and IT are no longer separate entities that can be governed in isolation. Instead, IT is a vital part in enabling virtually every business initiative we do and an accelerator for implementing our retail processes in the markets. The first program for the person taking on this role will be to manage a newly set up, high profile program in the retail area, containing several IT-projects/programs, as well as business development and service establishment streams.
Main responsibilities
• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of the program and program work-streams
• Identify, manage and resolve issues
• Establish and perform regular cost control and regularly report cost performance according to established routines
• Monitor and control all changes in a formal change control process and ensure that decisions on changes are taken by the right stakeholders
• Develop periodic reports on a variety of subjects including status, risks and mitigation plans, issues and resolution, and change requests
• Identify risk, assess impact, develop risk mitigation plans and execute mitigation plans
• Establishment and management of the business development and services work-streams, for example: support in work with Global IT providers for the program area with focus on global supplier management and establishment of Services Catalog including project catalogue
• Define and develop Cost & Revenue processes for the program area, for example: Budgeting and forecasting process for new development and operations
Required qualifications
• Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Extensive program management experience
• Experience working with organizational and business development
• Experience working with information technology applications
• Experience from operating in a global environment with diverse cultures and complex stakeholders

• Professionalism in dealing with all levels of management and staff, able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
• Excellent communication skills and great business acumen
• Has a structured way of working and good time management skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and activities across various locations

• Willingness to travel
