What you will do
In the role as Lead IT and Digitalization in Volvo Group Real Estate (VGRE) you will own and develop our Global IT & Digitalization strategy and roadmap in line with our overall strategy to achieve our targets. You will do this in close collaboration with our operation, to ensure an adequate system portfolio supporting us today and, for us to stay up-to-date and valid in the future. You will work with solution lifecycle management with a focus on simplification and reducing complexity. You will manage and optimize digital tools and platforms. You will be responsible for developing the VGRE's digital real estate platform and related business development services and tools as a global real estate company. You will be responsible for the development of the concept of "smart real estate" to meet goals and vision. You will analyze and evaluate the performance of our tools to identify areas for improvement and implement key digital transformation strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
In this role, you are responsible for IT strategic planning, governance and architecture which will include IT security in the Real Estate area. You will be involved in building competence in Volvo Group Real Estate around these digital capabilities. You will drive and align the overall system landscape and our digitalization journey to support operational efficiency. You will work close to stakeholders and operations by providing support in matters concerning overall IT architecture as the lead enterprise architect.
Who are you?
You are a person with university degree in IT and with several years of work experience within the IT and Digitalization area, working with strategic questions and development. You have experience of developing and implementing digital strategies at global level. You are action-oriented person that gets things done. You have a long-term strategic thinking and the ability to execute and break it down to activity level. You have experience from managing complex solution landscapes and projects within industrial companies and how to reduce technical complexity.
You are an experienced transformational leader with long practice in driving change across several organizations and geographies. You are commercially oriented, intuitive and have excellent communication and team-working skills. You communicate with ease in English, both spoken and written. You have high energy level with the ability to drive the agenda forward. You have good social abilities to communicate, inspire and implement change at all levels globally.
Preferrable, you have worked and have experience in the real estate areas. You have good understanding of the real estate business, property management and facility management. You have deep understanding of both business and IT and a capability to actively use Information Technology to find new ways of developing GRE for the future. Have an in-depth understanding of upcoming technologies, and trends in the market is a prerequisite.
