At Sandvik Group IT and our Product Area Digital Workplace, we're in the midst of a transformative shift toward greater agility and forward-thinking approaches and are now seeking several Product Owners & IT Managers to join us in driving innovation and shaping our digital future.
Within this, we're looking for an experienced IT Manager to enhance our Digital Workplace Support team. About the job
In this position, you're responsible for driving and supporting the strategy, development, operational excellence, and adoption of all the teams within the Product Area Digital Workplace, and you do this by:
Collaborating closely with the product teams, stakeholders, and end-users.
Being accountable for the financial results and putting focus on engineering and innovation.
Ensuring an efficient and effective way of working throughout the product lifecycle and facilitating an effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Guaranteeing that the product remains valuable to our customers and users - by adhering to the principles of value, viability, feasibility, and usability.
Managing and actively empowering personnel within the team and regularly assessing the team's prerequisites and ensuring they have the necessary support and resources.
Fostering skills development within the team, encouraging individual growth and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

In collaboration with the product teams, you ensure that the product is fit for its purpose and continuously improved to meet stakeholder expectations in terms of value. Furthermore, your team focuses on offloading in areas such as M&As, Service Architecture, non-standard-operation initiatives, Service bundles within Group IT and other cross-functional activities.
The location for this job is Sandviken or Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office work with work from home or any other location. Since your management team and some of your team members are based in Sandviken, you need to be able to travel to Sandviken regularly if you're located in Stockholm.
Your character
We're looking for someone with a few years of experience in the field as IT Manager, possessing strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of IT practices and methods related to product ownership. You have a background in project management, and are experienced in agile fundamentals, frameworks, methods, and practices. Additionally, a minimum of a bachelor's degree in IT is required, along with a proven track record in people and change management - which promotes a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Furthermore, effective stakeholder and financial management skills are essential. As we're a global organization, excellent English skills, both written and verbal, is required.
To be a good fit for this position, you need excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a user centric mindset. Being technically focused and a motivated problem solver, ready to pursue meaningful work really comes in handy in this role and you always strive to make an impact. You have good communication and negotiation skills and the ability to provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Add to that an agile framework, strong business acumen and solid understanding of business goals, market dynamics, and customer needs, and you have a great chance of succeeding even more in this role.
