This will be us - your new colleagues within Finance
Undoubtedly, Finance is an interesting place to be especially during periods of change and transformation. We provide the financial information and analyses required to operate effectively and efficiently and to support business planning and decision-making.
The function works closely together and with other parts of the organization, both in Group Digital & IT organization as well as with the other Digital & IT and the Finance communities in the Group.
The finance department 'Delivery Business Control' is performing business control activities of Volvo Group Digital & IT deliveries and managing the financial interaction with the Volvo Group counterparts. It includes follow-up, planning and estimates of IT deliveries. We also interact with and provide financial advice/support to managers in the Volvo Group Digital & IT organization regarding delivery financials. The department is also responsible for IT Service fees calculations, developing and maintaining Volvo Group Digital & IT charging & delivery controlling model as well as contributing to the transformation of the operating model and governance of Volvo Group Digital & IT organization.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Business controlling of Volvo Group Digital & IT deliveries
Perform Business Control activities related to Digital Products, Business Applications, Projects and IT Services
Manage financial interactions with Group Digital & IT stakeholders
Secure financial follow up with a transparent structure and high quality
Lead planning and estimate process within served functions and secure target fulfillment
With a high degree of pro-activity, support the served function in securing that financial targets/plans are met
Support decision-making in providing relevant and thorough financial analysis and insights
Perform proactive controlling and drive cost awareness in the management team in order to achieve short and long term financial targets
Who are you?
You have several years of proven experience as a business controller. You will need to actively cooperate with management and various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
As a business controller, you are highly involved in creating an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation.
Experience in Business controlling
Experience in business and/or management team interaction
Strong personal drive and desire to get the job done
Ability to establish and maintain good relations
Strong logic and analytical skills
Have a positive attitude and like to have fun at work
Flexible and pragmatic in order to act in a changing environment during the transformation
Excellent communication & presentations skills
Fluency in business English, spoken and written
University/Master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant area
SAP knowledge will be an advantage
