Description
In the role of IT coordinator, you get to work closely with the business to create roadmaps, plans and coordinate initiatives for digitalization. By collecting, managing and reporting data, you will support the business to control productivity and develop ways to work safely. You will create workstreams to increase productivity and efficiency, enhance user experience, support systems, databases and help with operational IT.
You will be part of Boliden Group and the Mines Digitalization Hub, with skilled colleagues and a coaching and supportive manager located in Boliden and Garpenberg. Together we support Boliden's mines in Finland, Ireland, Norway and Sweden.
Qualifications
We are looking for you with an interest and understanding for data, how it can be structured and flow in different ways. You are committed and communicative with interpersonal, networking and coordinating skills. You also have ability to troubleshoot with attention to details.
Key requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a similar field
Knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server
Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
Professional proficiency in English
Driver's license for a passenger car
It is advantageous to have previous experience of digitalization projects in a similar role as well as and understanding of Cloud Computing Platforms such as Azure, Aveva PI, agile working methods such as Scrum and language skills in Finnish and Swedish.
