We are looking for an IT Application Developer to be based in
Stockholm
Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services.
RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.
Your Role:
Your main focus will be the development and rollout of our global PLM system based on ARAS innovator. This also includes the implementation of PLM Industry Best Practise Solutions to reduce lead times and improve business execution. You will take part of the expansion of the system functionality and getting ready for roll-out the system to other countries in order to consolidate RCS Product data around the world.
Your Responsibilities and Challenges:
• Develop and implement solutions in PLM (ARAS Innovator (OpenSource)) meeting RCS business requirements in managing Safety critical products
• Work as a PLM-team in close collaboration with power users across the globe
• The PLM-system must guarantee high level of data integrity/traceability and developed solutions shall be in-line with industry best practices balanced with evolving RCS business safety critical requirements
• Complex data migration replacing existing local/global data management applications
• User support, Problem solving and correction of PLM-related issues and Product data structuring issues
• Work with the Bi-directional Integration between the PLM-system and authoring applications like MCAD, ECAD, ALM, MS-Office and integration with other core applications like ERP (SAP R/3) and MAXIMO
• Implement test methods and procedures for code verification
• Verify existing and new Use Case ensuring system functional consistency
Your Experience and Qualifications:
• We believe you are educated to an Engineering degree level and as an advantage have experience/knowledge from > 5 years of relevant working experience
• Experienced in software development based on C#, Java/html, SQL.
• Fluent English is required
• Experienced of business processes and integrations with PLM, ERP, -Authoring Tools and Installed Base Management systems
• International experience
• Experience of design/production engineering
• Ability to travel frequently
