hela Sverige We are on behalf of one of our customer in Lund looking for a consultant for the position as an IOT Support Engineer.
Assignment description:
The IOT (Inter Operability Test) department is now looking for skilled engineers with focus on networks signaling (NS) customer support for GSM, WCDMA and LTE systems.
Job description
As a member of the team you will be involved in:
• Supporting customers in the NS area from our office in Lund and occasionally on-site together with our customers around the world.
• Developing the cooperation with our customers and continuously improving our support.
The IOT department consists of approx. 50 engineers spread out over sites in Lund, Tokyo, Seattle, Hong-Kong and Beijing, and are working tightly together.
Required competence:
• Expertise knowledge in GSM, WCDMA or LTE network procedures and deep understanding of the protocol stack (i.e. for WCDMA you should know CAS, RRC, RLC/MAC or PHY and be familiar with spec. like 25.331).
• Minimum three years of experience in the field of telecommunications, specifically work related to the air interface in GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE. Examples of previous work are with designing/testing/integrating RNCs or testing mobile platforms.
• Experience from dealing directly with customers.
• Excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Good social and networking skills to support teamwork.
• Strong personal drive and the ability to work independently.
• You should enjoy working in an international environment.
Wanted competence
• Drivers license.
• Possibility to travel regularly.
• International experience, either from living or working abroad.
Start: April 2013
Duration: 3 months with possibility for further extension.
Location: Lund
Work load: 100%
Working language: Swedish & English
