We are responsible for the development and maintenance of M2M features found in IOTA like SIM ordering, M2M provisioning, subscription management as well as rating/billing for Operators or their Enterprises. IOTA supports 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G NSA messaging and packet switched services. IOTA development the features that build up the actual services exposed on our platform whilst the day to day running of that platform (Production) is managed by our colleagues in the NOC.
Responsibilities
The Ericsson IOTA solution consists of two areas, Device Connectivity System (DCS) and Business Support Systems (BSS). We want to strengthen the DCS team with more Packet Core experience.
In DCS, we have both Ericsson products, such as STP, EPG, vEPG, UDC (HLR-FE, CUDB, PG), LTE (HSS-FE, DSC), MPBN including IPWORKS, SAPC and 3rd Party products, such as SMSC from Sinch and OSIX probes from Polystar.
As a Solution Architect you will be working in the forefront of technology and in one of the few places where someone can work in IP, Packet Core, CS core and virtualization in the same unit
Key responsibility for this position is to
Act as domain expert in Packet Core areas.
Network Design of the Packet Core domain; new solutions, optimize the existing networks etc
Construct and update system architecture descriptions
Participate and drive different types of system studies
Construct roadmaps together with Product Management
Support in responding to internal and customer questions
Plan, implement and support in upgrades and updates
Analyze node and systems capacity, dimension node and systems
Qualifications
E2E solution knowledge, Strong hands on experience in IP & Core Network Architecture Design and integration with relevant knowledge from one or several areas connected to Ericsson DCP:
Strong competence in Packet Core (SGSN-MME, EPG, vEPG, SACC solution, SAPC, SMSC)
Good knowledge of IP protocols and flow design (MPLS, VPN, BGP)
Good knowledge in IP Backbone configuration (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
IPWorks (DNS Radius)
Recommended certifications
Ericsson Certified Professional - IP Transport Design
Ericsson Certified Professional - 5G Packet Core and Policy
Ericsson Certified Associate - Ericsson Cloud
5+ years system design, system integration or equivalent experience with a proven record of accomplishment of success
