Investor Relationship Associate
About the Role:
This role will primarily work with the CEO and the executive team based out of Stockholm, with the purpose of building relationship with VC, investment analysts and relevant external stakeholders. You need to have good grip on the business, industry, competition, business/pricing model, and financial modelling / deal structuring.
You will be working with the CEO to market the company to the appropriate investors. This will include driving investor awareness & engagement, supporting due diligence and decision making on offers. You need to have a clear understanding of company finances, a firm grip on strategy and operations, and compelling communication skills.
Your role is essential in reaching our ambition to become the clear category leader in supply chain transparency and product traceability, and to succeed you must be willing and eager to stay at the forefront of change, partnering with and learning from the best.
The position is a full-time employement based in the city center of Stockholm.
Who we believe you are:
You are a goal oriented, positive thinker. You have a love for data, a natural drive to continuously test and learn to improve performance and can easily share your insights and recommendations with others.
You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and are love both crafting strategies and getting into the nitty gritty of preparing a pitch deck or setting up an investor meeting.
As a team player you are humble, you inspire people around you, and you are used to putting the team first. You are eager to drive change and break new grounds. And you are - as all of us - committed to the aim to accelerate sustainable transformation. As we are a software company, being tech savvy doesn't hurt, either.
Experience:
up to 5 years of total prior work experience including at a minimum either of:
• 1 year of full-time work experience at a top-tier investment bank or strategy consulting firm
• 1 year of full-time work experience in strategy, business development, partnerships or corporate development
Any work experience that demonstrates the drive, skills and character required to be successful in a demanding, entrepreneurial, and dynamic work environment.
Skills:
superior work ethic and uncompromising personal integrity
an interest in sifting through, and identifying trends within, large volumes of data
basic understanding of financial modeling and accounting
demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision (including proactively seeking guidance when needed
excellent interpersonal and networking skills with an ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships
undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution, and a demonstrated track record of both academic and professional success
interest and experience in the retail and/or financial services industries - either directly as an employee or through transactions/consulting in the market is highly preferred, but not mandatory
wants to be part of a highly collaborative team, where we all strive to win together
Responsibilities:
Creating and executing investor strategy
Responsible for pitch deck and presenting the TrusTrace story to the investors.
Responsible for complete investor relationship - awareness building, evaluation, shortlisting, term sheet analysis, evaluation, deal finalisation and post-deal activities
Inbound lead generation and relationship building with warm leads.
Attending investor events and partnering with key industry and investor networks to ensure strong interest into TrusTrace
