The IOT (Interoperability Test) department is now looking for a network vendor co-ordinator to support IOT projects in co-ordination of GSM, WCDMA and LTE testing towards network vendors. The IOT department consists of ~50 people spread out over different sites globally. The position gives you the possibility to work cross site together with the test engineers in Japan, China, US, Hong Kong, Sweden etc. You will also work together with other teams outside IOT; e.g. Type Approval, Customer Support and various Software Design teams.
You will be responsible of coordinating IOT/IODT network vendor testing of ST-Ericsson platforms and plan trials and tests of early functionality together with network vendors. The job involves daily contact with network vendors across the world to support them on technical matters related to ST-Ericsson platforms. You will also support product management technically in meetings and negotiations with network vendors and manage technical negotiations independently.
Competence:
M. Sc. or B. Sc degree in a relevant field
Good understanding of telecommunication systems and Network Signaling protocols within GSM, WCDMA and LTE in particular
Used to analytical work
Excellent communication skills as the work involves direct contact with other companies
Very good social skills as the position requires a broad network both within and outside ST-Ericsson
Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
High ability to work independently, take initiative and drive own work
Ability to quickly get a system view understanding of technical problems
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project
Well organized, structured and curious
Drivers license
Possibility and interest to travel regularly
International experience, either from living or working abroad
