International Mobility Services (IMS) is a functional area within Volvo Group that belongs to HR Services and is responsible for providing global mobility services and solutions to the Volvo Group. IMS provides expertise and administration for long-term and short-term assignments and consultative advice for other cross border transfers.
The IMS Region EMEA team is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and Lyon, France. The EMEA team works closely with Region Americas team and Region APAC team and with the global IMS Administration team in Poland.
We are now looking for an International Mobility Business Partner (IMBP) with global mobility experience to our team in Gothenburg. The mission is to drive, coordinate and secure the international assignment process. This requires close collaboration with a number of stakeholders (HR departments, line management, finance departments) and external vendors (relocation company, tax provider, etc).

Responsibilities:
• Secure that Volvo?s International Assignment policy and process is understood by all parties ? manage expectations and secure that each stakeholder is aware of their role in the process and executes accordingly.
• Closely drive and monitor the activities in the international assignment process keeping the Human Resources Business Partner updated.
• Prepare cost projections, calculate expatriate salaries and create international assignment contracts
• Monitor compliance to policy, process and laws and identify potential risks.
• Conduct meetings with assignees to present terms and conditions and provide policy interpretation and guidance.
• Act as primary point of contact for the resolution of issues related to international assignments
• Provide on-going support to all stakeholders during assignment
• Ad hoc administration (e.g., payments, invoicing, reports, etc.)
Education and Experience:
• 5 years? experience in global mobility
• Bachelor?s Degree in Human Resources/ Business or equivalent work experience.
• Human Resources experience
• Fluency in English and Swedish
• Additional languages are helpful
• International experience from working or studying abroad is a merit
