We are a shared service center, and our mission is to deliver cost effective and value added services to the Nordic Business Units and Business Group functions.
ComServices provides communication services within Vattenfall Nordic and to Group Communications. We currently provide editorial services for both internal and external internet channels, media monitoring, analysis and intelligence services plus market communication services.
We now seek a Channel coordinator for our common intranets in the Nordic countries and the Group.
Your role
You will have operational responsibility for the management of NordSite and Group Site and coordinating the Nordic intranets.
You will be the operational leader of the team that manages the websites.
On behalf of the Editorial Office you will pursue proactive development work within administration and will be the contact person and sounding board in website development meetings.
As Channel coordinator you will be fully conversant with Vattenfall’s strategic aims, understand the communication strategies for the websites and able to convert and leverage these in operational work.
As channel coordinator you will be responsible for the planned flow of communication, planning of home pages and content, news evaluation and that the entire website follows graphic profile guidelines and policies.
You will work closely with the head of news to ensure the effective coordination of news flows.
You will also have close communications with the channel owner and information owner and participate in regular meetings with commissioning parties and interested parties.
Based on the budget parameters set for administration and communication with commissioning parties you will secure the resource requirements, monitor budgets and report in line with agreed procedures.
About you
You are a trained communicator/journalist (e.g. JMK, IHM, IHR, RMI Berghs) with extensive experience of internal communications in a management capacity and understand and have experience in an international internal environment. You have worked in an editorial office and with the internet over an extended period.
You enjoy customer contact and have a good understanding of commissioning client businesses. A holistic approach, financial nous and a sense of order are important qualities.
As an individual you are goal oriented and able to take responsibility, a problem solver and who has the ability to motivate team members.
We consider experience of working in large international organisations a major advantage.
Fluent spoken and written English is a must. Finnish or Danish would be very advantageous.
