About the job
As Internal Audit Manager you will be responsible for developing internal control processes and flows both within the finance department as well as other functions within the Group. As Internal Audit Manager you will be leading the groups internal control work and report to Chief Financial Officer. Location of the role is Uppsala but will involve trips to our other offices in Sweden, Greece and Canada. Examples of work related tasks:
• Scope and perform internal audits (operational, compliance and risk management).
• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
• Identify and reduce business and financial risks through effective implementation and monitoring of controls.
• Develop, implement and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice.
• Produce clear and concise internal control reports that summarize internal control findings, recommendations and actions.
• Produce high quality internal control documentation and evidence to support the findings of any internal control review.
• Undertake any specific investigations or consultative work upon request.
• Support with risk management by providing advice and support as required.
Who you are
To succeed in this role we believe you are person with analytical skills who have the ability to analyze and evaluate systems and develop suggestions for implementing improvements. We also believe you have the ability to contribute to the development of internal control procedures and policies. You have good communication and networking skills and thrive to work both independently and within a team.
Key Experience
• 3+ years of experience within a "Big 4" public accounting/consulting environment and/or experience with financial and operational audits in a multinational company.
• Relevant academic degree in relevant field for example Business or Economics.
• Sound understanding of auditing principles and practice, including risk based internal auditing.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills required.
