We at Wise Professionals/Eqonomy are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to support our client while they are recruiting for the permanent position. The period of this assignment is estimated to be around 3-4 months, maybe longer. We would like You to start this assignment asap and the contract is full time. We also welcome You who have your own company to go as a sub- consultant.
Main responsibilities
As an Interim Finance Manager you will be responsible for the Swedish Operation and you will work closely with the VP Finance as well as with the regional managers. You will follow up an external Accounting firm who is responsible for the day to day tasks, and receive their reports. You in turn will report to the VP Finance. In this position you will be an allrounder and your accounting skills combined with your eye for business operation will be key.
Your main responsibilities and tasks
Overall responsibility for the financial function of the Swedish unit.
Day to day responsibility for all financial administration, including financial operations, reporting & analysis, month end, cashflow & funding.
Business partner to the Regional MD & Sweden leadership team in building and developing the company's operations in the Swedish market
Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly forecasts and annual reporting to US Corporate.
Analysis of financial reports and market trends, as well as identification of potential areas for improvement
Lead the annual audit with responsibility for legal accounting, in consultation with lawyers, and financial reporting to the board, MD and other stakeholders
Develop the financial control framework & champion best finance practice through the business, to minimize financial risk for the company
Negotiations with suppliers as well as further development and follow-up of agreements
Background and experience
Preferably you have an academic degree with a focus on economics or similar
Several years' experience of a senior finance role or equivalent
Good understanding of business principles and practices
Experience from working in a listed company is an advantage
Experience of having both developed a company's financial unit, and been involved in the development of a company's operations, or a completely new company in Sweden, is an advantage
Good communication skills, both written and oral in Swedish and English
Knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
If you have worked in Cognos as a reporting system or similar it is advantageous.

Flexible in handling certain bureaucracy
Structured and planning, but with the ability to quickly adjust and improvise to find solutions
