Be an active member of the Student Care team.
Define, organize and lead the Head of Year in their work with each year group.
With the Academic Assistant Principal, create and the develop the equal treatment and crisis plan.
Motivate and implement behavioral standards for students and implementing a behavioral and merit system.
Participate in the process of staff evaluation.
Participate in the search for and the interviewing of prospective employees.
Promote loyalty to the vision and values of the school.

From its start in 1993, the founder, Mrs. Barbara Bergström, articulated three major convictions which are the cornerstones of Internationella Engelska Skolan:
1. Command of English. English has become the world 's common language, "the key to the world". Children should learn to command the English language, not just know it, from an early age. Fluency is best achieved through language immersion and instruction by native English-speaking teachers in an international atmosphere.
2. A safe and orderly school environment where teachers can teach and students learn. Order, structure and safety are necessary prerequisites for learning. A school characterized by discipline and calm learning conditions also signals respect for the value of education. "Tough love" is the motto for our school, which is strict in norms for behavior, but simultaneously conveys love for the students and a strong will to help each child succeed. Practicing good manners and proper behavior in a workplace combined with an appreciation of the positive results emerging from hard work prepares students for success in adult life.
3. High academic expectations and aspirations. Our conviction is that every child can achieve success regardless of social background. Our ambition to support every student in realizing his or her own potential applies to both those requiring special support to meet standards as well as to the most gifted learners.
Internationella Engelska Skolan is dedicated to supporting students of all backgrounds in becoming productive and responsible citizens, and acquiring the confidence and ambition necessary to maximally utilize their talents.

We will have 940 students between grade 4-9.
We started 2014 and we are one of 32 IES schools in Sweden.
