The Insurance Specialist is mainly responsible for supporting the commercial organization and analyzing profitability in various insurance programs. The role also plays a key part in the annual insurance renewal process.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Proactively supporting commercial in insurance review meetings and upselling additional services
* Supporting commercial with insurance sales and tenders to achieve correct and competitive pricing (together with Insurance Manager and LeasePlan Insurance)
* Support Insurance Manager in developing the insurance offer in general and new products in particular
* Create and develop damage preventative actions to make the business area more attractive to LeasePlan and its customers
* Ensure follow-up of profitability within the customer portfolio together with Insurance Manager
* Actively participate in internal commercial meetings and with other internal stakeholders
* Contribute to the development of the strategy, operational plan, KPIs and budget to successfully manage the relationship and partnership with suppliers
* Supporting Insurance Manager in the company's relationships with (insurance) partners
* Executing the annual insurance renewal
* Member of the Insurance Risk Committee
Knowledge / Skills:
Essential:
* Experience from analytics
* Excellent MS Excel skills
* Experience from working with databases and (any) BI tool
* Structured and exhibits a drive for continuous improvement of processes and operational excellence
* Proactive, creative and innovative thinker with a large drive for business development
* Understanding complex products, defining and executing strategies
* Team-oriented mind-set with a strong focus on collaboration and building relations within the LeasePlan organization, clients and potential partners
* Be honest, transparent and trustworthy
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken (Swedish and English)
Desirable:
* Experience and knowledge of leasing industry
* High interest in cars and car industry
* Ability to work to challenging deadlines in a demanding, fast-paced environment
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Experience from insurance industry
Qualifications:
Essential:
* University degree in a Business or Economics or equivalent knowledge thru work experience
* 3-5 years of experience in insurance or car industry role preferably within leasing
* OR 2-3 years of experience in analytics
* Understanding of insurance products
