At On-board Telematics we are in the heart of this transformation, and we work with implementing end-to-end functions like Entertain the driver, Driver Coaching, ISee, Remote SW Download and Geofencing. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services like driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. Our android based service and entertainment system is enabling new features in the entertainment productivity and uptime field.
The development in the area of connectivity is fast, furious and fun!
We are now looking for an Innovation Leader that can drive and develop our advanced engineering activities into the future
We want you to
• Own and manage our portfolio of advanced engineering projects
• Lead out advanced engineering activities
• Help us drive innovation and nurture an innovation culture within our organisation
• Continuously manage a flow of master thesis workers
• Work closely with other innovation teams both internal and external
• Be an ambassador for our technology area within AB Volvo and inform and sometimes educate our stakeholders

What do we think is required for managing this position?
• Interest in the big disruptive technologies like automation, electrification and digitalization and how that will affect our industry
• Experience from working with connectivity in at least one industry segment
• You need experience from development of advanced distributed SW systems
• You need a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• You must love new technology and have a business oriented mindset
• You must have a collaborative personality and approach
Besides the mandatory list above, it is a merit if you have
• Experience from "design thinking"
• Experience of SW design and development
• Experience of linux and android development
