hela Sverige As an Innovation Engineer/Technical Specialist you will join the global Advanced Development SDA team in Stockholm and create the future generations of our products within the categories food preparation, coffee and fabric care. The team is involved in a broad range of technical issues in the early development phases including creating new product concepts, exploring new technology and inventing new technical solutions. As one of the key contributors in the team you will be responsible for and strongly influence the concepts and technology used. You will be the link that transfers the needs of the consumer into realistic and feasible technical solutions.
A typical day at work
In this role your main responsibility will be to drive relatively small but very important and innovation orientated R&D projects. The main focus of your activities will be:
• Doing mechanical design in CAD
• Build prototypes in our workshop
• Evaluate the performance and functionality in our laboratories
• Present results and proposals to the project steering committee
You will often work closely with a team of experts and have close relations with other functions such as product development, marketing and industrial design.

• Have the ability to transfer the voice of the consumer into technical solutions
Education & experience:
• Master of Science degree in Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Design and Product Development/Applied Physics or other relevant field
• Min. 2 years of relevant working experience with mechanical systems, structural design or electrical systems
• Experience of 3D modelling in CAD, preferable Catia V5
• Broad technical knowledge and competence
• Practical experience of e.g. building prototypes or other equipment
• Have been working with product development within an organization developing mass-market products
• Experience with heat transfer, food science and/or mechatronics - will be a plus
