Rindab provides products and solutions primarily for the automotive and machinery industries, with sales in the Nordic region and other countries in Northern Europe. Our successful business concept of delivering customized, high-tech solutions has resulted in increased sales and positive feedback.

Rindab has been in existence for 50 years and is a relatively small organization that is growing rapidly with significant growth ambitions in the European market. Today, Rindab is owned by an Australian publicly traded company. Despite our size, we have large and well-established customers both within and outside Sweden, demanding high standards from their suppliers. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that we deliver according to agreements and contracts, where the purchasing role plays a crucial function.

As we are expanding, we are now seeking an additional team member for a relatively broad role within the purchasing function, currently managed by the CEO.

Our suppliers and purchases are mainly located abroad, in countries such as the USA, Korea, Australia, and to some extent, Europe and Sweden.

Responsibilities
Order products
Optimize inventory management
Calculate purchase prices, sales prices, and margins
Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
Manage freight and shipping
Negotiate freight costs and agreements for incoming and outgoing goods
Handle customs issues, documentation, etc., for import and export
Keep track of new products from our suppliers
Inform sales representatives about new products
Update our marketing platform with information about new products
Ensure that products have necessary certifications, documentation, and comply with national and EU requirements
Compile reports on warehouse efficiency, freight efficiency, etc.
Upload new products into our ERP system with correct prices and maintain and update products and prices in our ERP system. Engage in ongoing discussions with the sales team regarding future business and volumes to make professional assessments of purchasing volumes.

Qualifications
Strong negotiation skills
Experience in import and export (a significant advantage)
2+ 10 years' of purchasing experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Swedish and English
Data literacy and system proficiency, excellent knowledge of Office programs, as well as the ability to import and export data in ERP systems, etc.
Excel (Proficient at an advanced level)
