Material handling company looking for a dedicated service/control engineer to support our Swedish customers as well as our service and maintanence teams. This position is based at ICA Långeberga and might require some travel though normally not frequent.
Duties and requirements are as follows:
• Provide in house technical support for our maintance team as well as customer's data management (plc programs etc).
• Technical liaison between the service team and the corporate engineering team.
• Provide backup support for the call center.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues, open case data and take appropriate actions to resolve customer issues.
• Identify areas for production improvement as well as implementation.
• Must be organized, driven and self-started.
• Proficient PLC skills especially Simatic S7.
• Field buses (profibus, interbus, deviceNet, Ethernet)
• Good electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with VFD's and servos.
• Good computer skills
