What you will do
The Information Security Manager is a trusted advisor and a "point of contact" regarding information security issues affecting the business operations globally, where you will be expected to take lead in sorting out security challenges and how to fulfil regulatory demands in a structured and pragmatic manner. In this role you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Ewellix Information Security framework as well as collaborating closely with the business organization for regulatory compliance management processes related to our IT/IS environment.
You will work in projects and with IT-service delivery teams to set security requirements for new IT-service deployments, deep dive into security challenges and explore new market opportunities for enhancing our security capabilities. You will be responsible for raising awareness, coaching and driving consensus across the business organization to define and influence the policy and tools that protect our sensitive data.
Some of the key responsibilities and role expectations:
• Serve as the central point of contact for Information security matters for the company and ensure that security is integral to strategic IT, technology and business decisions.
• Work with the organization's stakeholders to survey, identify and recommend best-fit security solutions and participate/lead their implementation where appropriate.
• Drive and assist in the definition, design and implementation of the Information Security framework, incl. processes, policies and technology, to ensure the right level of protection for systems, information assets and IT services.
• Participate in information security incident response activities and perform security incident reporting and investigations in a timely manner.
• Create an annual security review plan and conduct periodic internal IT Security reviews and controls
• Serve as Ewellix Data Privacy office in coordination with local unit DPO's
What experience do you have
We believe that you have broad technical and deep information security knowledge. It is also expected that you have a broad technical understanding of all the components which constitute the enterprise IT environment as well as experience from working with information security management systems and data protection regulations.
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years' work experience, including minimum 5 years of Information security related work duties
• Preferably some Information security certification, e.g., CISSP/CISM/CISSO or/and knowledge and experience of ISO 27001 as well as previous experience from being part of an Information security team in a global environment.
• Relevant experience from participating in complex IT change initiatives
• Broad information technology competence
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and export control regulations
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Who we are
Ewellix HQ is located in new premises, about 8 minutes from Gothenburg Central Station. As the Information Security Manager, you will have one of the key positions in the company and report to the Group IT Director, Patrik Mattsson. Ewellix is a global company and some travel over multiple continents is to be expected.
