Correct and adequate product data is one of the corner stones for the digital journey ahead of us, often referred to as Industry 4.0. The Product Information and Data Management department is responsible for processes and platforms, which includes information models, product structures, classifications and standards. We are responsible for seeing that relevant, correct and complete information is available to our customers and internal users. The group consists of eleven co-workers and is a part of a newly created function, Intelligent & Digital Manufacturing.
We are now looking for an Information Management and Data Specialist for Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM), an exciting role with great potential for a person who wants to develop a key role in the digitalization of Sandvik Coromant.
Key performance areas
As Information Management and Data Specialist, you gather and channel requirements, based on our PLM processes, for optimal support in creating and maintaining product information. You conduct implementation in the organization and manage projects involving complex or large-scale implementation. Furthermore, you support users in the PDM and PLM area and propose data quality improvements. As Coromant?s parent organization, Sandvik Machining Solutions, is implementing a new common platform for PLM, you will participate and ensure successful transformation.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a technical education from high school or university and experience with PLM and PDM processes and Master Data Management. Experience from project management and working with business requirements for PDM and PLM systems is advantageous. Good skills in English, in both writing and speaking, are a requirement for this position, while knowledge of Swedish or another language is an advantage.
