For AstraZeneca we are now looking for an Information and Communication Specialist for a consultant assignment for 18 months with possibility for extension.

Publiceringsdatum2015-04-17Dina arbetsuppgifterPharmaceutical Development designs and delivers the active drug product required to support new medicines. Likewise, they design and deliver products to be used in toxicology studies or clinical trials, and develop technology to ensure that drug products can be scaled up for manufacturing on a commercial scale.
Pharmaceutical Development cover Application Portfolio Management, Information Management, Operating Model, SHE, Communication and Engagement, Facility Management, Capital Management and Equipment Management. You will provide guidance and support related to who to contact for what, who decides what, what goes where as well as to provide central super users for tools and processes based upon what our Drug Projects and our Scientists need.
As a Senior Information and Communication Specialist you will be an important player to ensure that Pharmaceutical Developments Achievements are recognised both internally and externally as well as to be a key player in driving Pharmaceutical Development.
You will be working with:
• proactively identify stories and strategic initiatives
• effective networking and information gathering process
• help managers communicate messages to their staff
• drive Good Information Practice
• contribute to the Global and local communications plan
• ensure that the departments information is included and shared efficiently in Newsletters and Updates
• coordinate the departments Site Management team to ensure maximum value and right focus
• coordinate and drive scientific events from a Communication and Engagement Perspective
• ensure positive visibility of the department via different types of internal and external media, globally and locally
• lead of the departments local Communications network and member of the global Communications network of Global medicines Development
• close collaboration with global Communications manager
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We think that you are educated to graduate level or equivalent and have extensive experience in a customer oriented environment, flexibility to meet changing business needs. Previous experience internally or externally working with communication, engagement and information is preffered as well as excellent communication skills at all levels and ability to understand technical/complex information in such a way that give help to managers and others in how to communicate to staff. An interest in what technology can do for communication, collaboration and information within an organization and to be creative with proposing structured, efficient and customer adjusted solutions that will simplify for the Business is also preffered.
As a person you are excellent in team working, networking and influencing and have the ability to engage relevant staff and leaders in continuous improvement. You are capable of making effective decisions, acting courageously and communicating with conviction and inspiration at all levels. You demand excellence (sets high bar) and delivers and are able to get professional credibility within both the organization as well as the department, which is based on a sound professional knowledge in a business environment. You have the willingness to learn and explore new applications and ability to challenge corporate tools implementation guidelines. You like to work hands-on and strategic, structured and creative, as a team player but self-starter and you are proactive as well as self-motivated. ndependent and able to prioritize with an excellent customer service focus.
