In Battery Production we have installed high volume series production of Battery packs, Modules, two prototype lines for batteries and a line for the series production of VCB cables. We are in a phase where we train and build competence to manufacture Battery packs, Modules and cabling for tomorrow's e-mobility products.
Dedicated to a Sustainable Future
The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in the electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a project organization with focus to develop the process for inhouse production of batteries.
The projects for inhouse production aim to acquire, install and start up the production of new generation of batteries on site in Sweden and in Europe. The work is cross functional and conducted in close cooperation with purchasing, R&D departments and production partners within the Traton Group.
The project team is expanding and We are now looking to reinforce with one Industrial Engineer - Test leader.
We are looking for a highly competent and flexible team player that is dedicated to a sustainable future.
Vacant Position
As a Test leader the main tasks include:
Lead in running daily project and commissioning plans.
Directs daily steering with cross functional stakeholders such as production, launch teams, IT, logistics and maintenance.
Examples of topics to control are tests and activities from Scania stakeholders and external suppliers, follow up on previous activities, visualization of plans and results, form corrective actions with the team when necessary, communicate test results and write reports.
The test leader supports project manager and steering group to fulfil start of line.
Your Profile
Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are valued high.
Bachelor, Master of Science degree or Scania Technician
Minimum 3-5 years of experience from Industrial engineering projects or similar work experience are necessary for the role.
Knowledge of Scania processes and work methods are highly valued.
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English is mandatory due to the communicative weight on the role.
The work is closely conducted with production partners in Traton and therefore travels abroad might be part of your job but the assignment is predominantly conducted in Scanias facilities in Södertälje.
You Will Achieve
A wide connection network within Production & Logistics as well as within other functions.
You will work with several other units as well as outside parties and be asked to present material for management teams on all levels of the company. Furthermore you will be part of a team exploring a new field within Scania Production & Logistics.
