In Stockholm, our focus is on our LiDAR and Vision development. Our responsibilities range from image processing, algorithms and software development to optics and functional safety.

What you'll do?
We are now looking of an Indirect Purchaser that can take the responsibility for our indirect purchases at Veoneer Sweden AB. You will have the responsibility to take lead in negotiations of quotes from the initiation phase to ordering. Based on your sourcing of indirect material and services you will select suppliers that is best suited our business. To be able to accomplish this you develop strategically important suppliers, maintain supplier performances and contacts. Additionally, you will manage and act on risks related to the supply chain.
As our Indirect Purchaser you will also have an important role of developing, implementing and maintaining our processes, standards and systems for Veoneer's purchasers of indirect material and services. This means that your will participate and working closely with our stakeholders not only in the budget process but also focus on being able to reach local spend and saving targets according to set goals.
You can be based at our manufacturing plant either in Vårgårda, or in our Tech Center office in Linköping, Stockholm or Gothenburg, here you will support and work closely with your colleagues in the global category teams. Your categories will be procurement of Professional Services, IT, Test & Labs and Travel.

You have a well-developed customer service skill but at the same time you can be assertive and communicate demands and requirements both internally and externally. You experience working with improvements, clarifications and simplifications of the processes and thrive in finding, establishing and following structures in a high pace, and in a dynamic and agile environment, constantly working towards a deadline.
You are used to and enjoy working both independently and in global teams, taking initiative, making decisions based on facts and taking ownership of your process. You understand the different roles involved in operational and strategic purchasing and what you all, the business, are trying to accomplish. You see yourself as result oriented and quality minded person with a sense for structure and responsibility. You're able to see possibilities for improvements in your daily work and enjoy working with process development and you bring drive and energy.
Level (diploma) required:
• University degree either in business administration or technology. Or equivalent work life experience
Other required skills:
• Experience within global operational and strategic purchasing
• Documented experience within Professional Services and IT sourcing/category strategy
• Good knowledge in Swedish and English both written and verbal
• Good IT-knowledge
