The job

The position will take leadership and ownership of identifying opportunities and delivering cost savings in line with the company driven objectives. The focus for this role will be on indirect costs but can also include direct spend projects.

The successful candidate need to demonstrate significant expertise in negotiation, cost management, and cost development.  She/he must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. The role requires hands-on sourcing implementation from start to finish, along with the ability to engage stake holders, when needed. The ability to deliver results is of great importance.

The main tasks include:

• In-depth analysis of spend data
• Supplier evaluation, negotiations and development of agreements
• Achieve cost reduction targets and secure annual price development
• Supplier development
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and suppliers
• Work and collaborate with the key stakeholders to achieve timely sourcing and budget saving
• Identification and preparation of indirect spend projects for competitive bidding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or logistics/supply chain is required
• 5 years’ experience of purchasing
• Demonstrated strong skills in negotiations
• Demonstrated experience in change management both creating visions and implement actions to achieve goals

• High level communication skills in English and Swedish

• Ability to partner and influence across organizational lines as well as externally
