As procurement professional with indirect purchasing experience, ideally with an international understanding, you are ready to take your career to the next level. We are now recruiting an Indirect Procurement Buyer to oversee the buying process primarily for our marketing, sales, maintenance, investment and HR functions.

What you will do?
As Indirect Procurement Buyer you will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services at AkzoNobel, and belong to our EMEA Indirect Procurement team. You will be the liaison point between country stakeholders, global and regional category managers, digital procurement and Global Business Services. You will execute the strategy at country level and lead local sourcing activities in close collaboration with regional and global teams. Your main responsibilities are:
• Source, support & facilitate the acquisition of goods & services
• Create & maintain relevant data for seamless execution of buying process
• Ensure commercial contracts are executed in compliance with Company policy
• Review spends to identify & drive opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, payment term harmonisation, contract coverage & catalogue expansion
• Manage tenders and negotiations <50KEUR
• Collaborate with colleagues within the country/ cluster of countries to understand potential challenges & business requirements to be addressed
• Support Coupa Procurement tool implementation Project
• Support & head local procurement projects when needed

This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible and you will be placed at our site just outside Malmö, Sweden. You will report directly to the Indirect Procurement Manager EMEA.
Who you are?
As a person you are highly analytical, confident with excellent communication skills at all levels. Also you have great networking skills with different stakeholders across several functions. You enjoy a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key. You enjoy a high pace international environment and have an easy time adapting to new situations that arise. You are good at resolving problems and prioritising activities. In addition, you enjoy taking the initiative and performing with high quality.
To be successful in this position it is preferable that you have a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field. Previous experience in Purchasing / Procurement is also an advantage. You could be newly graduated. In order for you to develop in this role, you need to feel confident working in different IT systems and feel comfortable working with both figures and Excel. We are using SAP, MS Office and Teams, among others. Since you work in an international arena you must be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
