We are now looking for an Inbound Analyst EMEA to join our team!

Inbound Analyst EMEA belongs to Inbound & Packaging Operations (IBPO) EMEA and reports to Director IBPO EMEA. The role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

What you'll do
As an Inbound Analyst you will support the Inbound EMEA business with the production of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and first level analysis prior to handing over to operational teams.

You will act as support to the total Inbound EMEA business in terms of continuous improvement and driving problem solving activities cross functionally. This includes to coach colleagues in problem solving processes and where possible define tools to support the wider organisation in their daily work in problem solving.

One of the key responsibilities in this role will be to set the structure and templates for KPI reports towards carriers, stakeholders and internally within Inbound EMEA. You will also set global (EMEA, APAC, Americas) standards and processes in relation to reporting tools with additionally full responsibility for the output for EMEA. To produce and, where possible, automate the daily, weekly and monthly operational reports as defined by business needs is also part of this role.

You will also
• Have the total ownership of our Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)and well as Performance Indicators (PI's)
• Support the journey of the "Network Shift" in relation to Performance Plan 2020
• Drive continuous improvement work as assigned and also that you identify yourself from a unique holistic perception of the operational activities within the unit.
• Develop tools and processes to improve and where possible automate or standardize processes within IBL EMEA
• Participate in the IBPO EMEA Mgmt. team when needed (the role has no formal HR responsibility and as such will be part of elements of the IBPO EMEA management team, not the full management team) and support a constant ongoing development of processes.

Do you fit the profile?
To be successful in this role we want you to have an Inbound Logistics background or at least an in depth understanding of the area. It is an asset if you have Master Degree in Quality and Operations Management or similar academic background from a top tier university. If you have a Six Sigma Black Belt certification on top of that it is a plus. Documented experience from cross functional and cross cultural work and a good knowledge of the Volvo Cars organization is highly valued. We see that you have first class MS Excel and MS Access skills with the ability to program from the outset as this is required. As you will coach and drive activities both within your team and in a wider scoop you need to a group oriented team player with good communications skills from operational to executive level. It also requires that you are a confident presenter when required, potentially to large audiences
Fluent in written and spoken English and other languages within the APAC region is a plus.
