• Developing business plans (market analysis, SWOT, revenue projections, etc) and blueprints mapping out the components of a reliable, trustworthy, cost-effective and efficient introduction of a local/regional Impactpool sites and services in Canada/USA/Latin America and the Caribbeans.
• Preparing a business strategy for Impactpool's broader internationalization vision, that is scalable and replicable on different markets;
The business strategy should include a methodology with the purpose to strategically and structured assess market potential, competitors, market size,
locations for establishment etc. The business strategy must also include administrative aspects of internationalization such as local rules, laws, and
insurances. It should also clearly focus on our Impact goal and the growth of both local talents and local organizations:
• The Impactpool Fellowship - the Premium Service for talents. This assignment involves defining a vision, a roadmap and the implementation of a new Fellowship strategy.
We expect that you hold a Master's degree from a well-renowned International University. Impactpool is working with some of the world's most prestigious universities and highly value applications from our partner Universities.
The perfect Entrepreneur to join the Impactpool team:
Is an international Entrepreneur, that always is thinking of how problems can be solved, how a process can be improved and how results can be achieved;
has already managed an own business and has a unique skill set to see business and impact opportunities that no one else sees,
is never standing waiting on the heals to get instructions - you are an independent and decisive team-worker that can take an idea from the drawing board to implement the project making a sustainable impact for the world;
has a relevant advanced degree, in business administration and/or public administration;
has experiences of leading complex projects and delivering qualitative and innovative results and solutions;
manages relevant regional languages. Please note that for this role it is required to at least manage three of the following languages - English, Spanish, French, Portuguese;
has experience of running an own business and has obtained a profound understanding of the local context in terms of business culture, law, rules, and regulations. Required is that the Entrepreneur has experience from running businesses in Latin-America;
Has a profound local understanding of business culture, market size evaluation, marketing, sales, and expansion;
Has a strong knowledge of education and knowledge management:
Has local experience in social projects;
The Impact Entrepreneur will work closely with and be supervised directly by the Impactpool CEO and COO. You must be prepared that working in a startup environment means long hours, high pace and changing priorities at a short notice. It is critical that the Entrepreneur is flexible, self-going and brings an open mind to changes in focus and change in priorities.
