Would you like to work in an international environment, in a school with a clear pedagogical vision? Internationella Engelska Skolan in Örebro is an established independent school that is now expanding. We are opening a junior school in the autumn 2013 and are looking for certified teachers in years 4 - 9.

IES Örebro is a part of Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige AB (IES), the largest independent school organization at compulsory level in Sweden.

We provide a calm and safe learning environment with high academic expectations. As a bilingual school, we teach both in English and in Swedish. Working at IES Örebro is about building a culture of success.

We are looking for certified teachers in all subjects, years 4 - 9. You should be enthusiastic about teaching, have a good classroom management and comfortable speaking English, which is our working language.
You will be a part of an international team who enjoy working and socializing together. We expect you to have an interest in technology as a tool and you will be provided with digital resources such as a MacBook and an iPad. Experience working with Google Apps and the flipped classroom is a plus. You will also be a mentor for a group of students and responsible for their holistic development.
